Affected Version: 2.8.1 w/ Google Chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any side-by-side diff with long lines of code.
2. Click into a long line of code and use the right arrow to scroll.
3. The window will scroll sideways but the text is cut off.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to have a scroll bar which I do not.
I expect to see the remaining content of the line when scrolling using the arrow keys but the line is cut off.
Also I expect the side-by-side to fill my screen but it seems to have a fixed max width.

Please provide any additional information below.
