Many a times I find that people want to expand all the folded lines, which in some patches can be in dozens. This will help people as now users will not be required to click on all of these folded line breaks.

Just select 'Whole File' as Context in the diff preferences? With clicking on 'Update' the change is not persisted.

What version is this on? And which change screen?

In 2.8 there is no diff prefs screen.

This is not related to what Edwin wrote.

What I meant to say is, instead of code-folding boundaries which says:
Expand 10 before
 (... skipping
103
 common lines ...)
Expand 10 after
it should say
Expand 10 before
 (... skipping
103
 common lines ...)
Expand 10 after Expand all lines

It is just a thing of convenience, and will definitely benefit people who
want to sometimes see the whole file and dont want to do click all 'expand'
links.

in your example, you can already click the '103' to expand all lines.

No no. What if there are three such instances? The user will need to click
all the three 'expand blah lines' for all the three code foldings to be
expanded. Clicking on this new 'expand all lines' will expand all these
three foldings in one click.
