Affected Version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Post a reply to a CL (or an inline comment on a CL) containing the following:

My idea is this:
foo
bar
baz

2. Publish the comment
3. View the comment

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see exactly what I typed. Instead, I see the following:

My idea is this: foo bar baz

Please provide any additional information below.
When rendering comments and replies, single newlines become spaces. Only double newlines become actual paragraph breaks. This is annoying in many cases, and terrible when typing code or pasting commandline output.

Interestingly, the newlines are still preserved in the backend: when you reply to one of these mangled comments, the plaintext in the compose text box contains the proper line breaks.
