Affected Version: 2.6 Setting tab width to doesn't affect display. It seems to always be 8 characters. Tested with Chrome and Firefox

And it only uses real tabs (which ignores the tab width setting) if Syntax Coloring is enabled

Related to: #825 ? BTW, this makes side-by-side unusable with projects using tab indentation and deeper nesting.

We are running 2.7-rc2 and have the problem. Perhaps needs reopening?

With the new UI in 2.8-896-g55eb448 I'm seeing the horizontal scroll bars with 100 columns, regardless of the size of the browser window. I don't see any way to change this value in the settings. When I attempt to revert to the old UI, opening the diff viewer on files crashes the Chrome tab :-( The Chrome build is: 31.0.1650.63 (Official Build 238485) |
