| Issue 1793: | Apollo Doesn't Show Artist / Album / Title information over Bluetooth | |

After upgrading from CyanogenMod 7.2 to CM 10.1 (Android 4.2.1) on my phone, I discovered that Apollo does not show Artist, Album, or Song information on my Bluetooth head unit (Alpine HD137BT) like Music on CM 7.2 did. I realize this isn't a priority for most people, but for those of us who have Bluetooth AV equipment, it would be really nice if it showed what was playing. In my case, I often have my phone in my pocket and can't safely dig it out to see what is playing. I'm working on downloading the CM 7.2 sources so I can try to dig around in Music and find that code and perhaps write patches to bring it into Apollo, but I'm not an Android or Java developer, so it will probably take me a while and my code quality will probably not be that high.

Why was this summarily marked as invalid with no comment as to the reason?

Because you filed it against the wrong issue tracker. This issue tracker is for Gerrit Code Review. We build a web interface that helps people review code. CM uses our software to review their code. This bug is about a bug in CM. It is *not* a bug about Gerrit Code Review. Please file CM bugs in the CM bug tracker and *NOT* with Gerrit Code Review. And yes we like 2-3 bug reports a day like this. :-( |
