Affected Version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b cm-10.1
2. repo sync
3. The job will stop due to fetch errors - see description below:

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Please provide any additional information below.

Very same reports can be seen here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36345237
Even the percentage on sync error is the same.

This is an issue tracker the Gerrit Code Review software. We can't do anything about the reliability of github.com servers.

The Android Open Source project is available at source.android.com and provides the foundation for CM. Maybe doing a repo sync against AOSP's servers first (taking advantage of resumable clone.bundle which github.com does not support) and then doing another sync against github.com to get the CM modifications would work better.
