What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Create a long commit message that is not hand-formatted to be less than 70 characters.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd like to see the text wrapped to the window, instead I see a long scrollbar where the message just keeps going and going and... (see attached screenshot).

Please provide any additional information below.
Many GUI based git tools do not "hand-wrap" the commit messages with linefeeds, it also is a silly concept to have to do that. The web UI can just wrap it in some kind of div element.

What standard Git tools auto wrap commit messages?

Gerrit shows exactly the formatting the standard git command line tools would use,
which is no line wrapping at all. What you type is what you see is what you get.
