| Issue 156: | Context setting of 100 lines causes repeated display of file | |
| Back to list |
Reported by Shawn Pearce <sop@google.com> on Wed Apr 29 08:49:25 PDT 2009 Source: JIRA GERRIT-156 Affected Version: 2.0.11 View a file in the side-by-side viewer with a difference on line 38, and later on line 53-58. If the user's context setting is 100 lines of context we wind up repeating the region of the file from line 48 down, because the hunk end from the diff on line 38 included 100 lines of context, showing part of the file where 53-58 was supposed to be. Because that was all context, the line 53-58 are displayed wrong the first time, as they don't show the difference. This doesn't show up if you do "whole file" context.

Comment by Jeff Hamilton <jham@android.com> on Thu Apr 30 22:33:26 PDT 2009 Using FF 3.0.5 on OS X I can see two copies of a line in the middle of a file I'm reviewing. My context diff setting is "Whole File", so this problem may not be isolated to just 100 line diffs, or maybe it's something different.

Comment by Dave Sparks <davidsparks@android.com> on Fri May 01 09:48:15 PDT 2009 I'm seeing a similar issue with "Whole File" and an 8 line makefile. The last line is repeated.
