What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. cd /var/tmp  ; mkdir test.git ; cd test.git ; git init
 
2. cd (home-gerrit/git ; ln -s /var/tmp/test.git test.git

3. {home-gerrit)/bin.gerrit.sh stop ; sleep 10 ; {home-gerrit}/bin/gerrit.sh start

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
teh test.git repo should be displayed in the projjects


Please provide any additional information below.

abobe should be clear and easy to reproduce
