At the moment a developer can push a change to gerrit and later approve his change by himself. This is barely useful. The ability to approve your own changes should be impossible by default. Rather there should be a special right doing that which can be granted to dedicated users (e.g. project leaders).

Agree. Mostly this is not a problem since most people just don't do this. But as a principle that should be a separate priv which allows you to approve your own changes. |
