In gerrit, links (to other changes, gitweb or bugs) replace the current tab/window (navigate away from the current change). It would be nice to have a preference to have it open a new tab for the link/bug (just like shift-control-click does).

When you click on a link by pressing the middle mouse button, the link is normally also opened in a new browser tab. Isn't this easy enough?

control-click or shift-control-click also works on a system without a middle mouse button, but a preference would still be easier/nicer.

I'm actually unable to middle or control-click in chromium on Ubuntu GNU/Linux 12.04, on gerrit.wikimedia.org, particularly in custom-built dashboards.

I'll file a separate bug, but this seems like it would be a valid way to solve my issue.
