It would be great, if Gerrit would remember the previous search query. E.g. I'm mainly working in only one project, but always have to filter for this one, to get an overview of open issues.

Since the query parameters reflect in the URL, you can simply create a bookmark in your browser to save a Gerrit query. Is this sufficient for you?

Hi,

thanks for replying. I already have that bookmark.
* I have my bookmark bar hidden to save some space
* It's not only that I'm searching for this one project. It's also about searching for a topic.

So I would be really glad, if the search could just remember the query.

Regards
Steffen

Martin already started to work on supporting saved queries and custom dashboards:

The discussion about saved queries and custom dashboards is done in issue 640 [1].
