I can still reproduce it. 1. start Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 2. go to https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/#/c/65335/5//COMMIT_MSG 3. the version in the lower right corner says 2.11-rc0-6-g01fd962 4. press '?' (that is, Shift+ß)

> press '?' (that is, Shift+ß) It looks like you're using a German keyboard layout. And I guess you're using Windows, since you mentioned Internet Explorer. I can't reproduce it using a US layout on Chrome (Ubuntu or Windows) or Internet Explorer (Windows). To confirm it's a keyboard layout issue, can you if possible also check with a US layout?

AFAIK it depends on the keyboard focus. If the focus is on own of the codemirror elements '?' open the reverse VI-like search. If the focus is anywhere else you get the help popup with the keyboard shortcuts.

Both comment #2 and #3 are correct. It doesn’t happen in the en_US keyboard layout, and in the de_DE keyboard layout it depends on the focus.
