This was my intention when I created the People menu, just never got around to it. Would love to see someone take this up.

Hello,

I have some queries regarding your requirement.
1- What would you like to see in the List user menu?
Only the name of users or some more details/features?
Can you please explain "Sometimes Administrator need rename usernames, or switch user to emulate the user behavior to solve some issues"

I think that the List Users page should show basically the information that appears on the user's Settings/Profile page. The user name could be a link to the user's Settings page, but only available for administrators, I guess.

The reporter (which, BTW, is my colleague) also mentioned two other features:

1- Administrators should be able to rename usernames. This come up when the username of a user in the LDAP directory changes. If she logs in again Gerrit will create another user. It should be possible for the administrador to tell Gerrit that the user has been renamed.

2- Adminitrators, sometimes, need to impersonate a user to debug some behaviour that is being reported. Something like the sudo Unix command. The JIRA isue tracker, for instance, has a feature like this with which the adminitrator can "sudo" as another user and work exactly as if he has logged in with her credentials. This is very handy sometimes.

Thanks.
