Reported by TheLinux...@gmail.com, Mar 8, 2012
Affected Version: 2.2.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add ~2500 users and ~70 groups (with users associated to groups)
2. Click Admin
3. Click Groups
4. Wait a really long time

Please provide any additional information below.

The groups listing page now appears to load all user information associated with the groups (according to the MySQL general log). For Openstack this takes nearly a minute to generate with default cache settings. I believe it is due to this change:

https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/source/detail?r=fccf928042d372f379204fcef61038f94c5b0845

As a sort-of workaround we increased the "accounts" and "accounts_byname" cache by 8x to get it down to around 3 seconds. But still way more than the 200ms observed in previous versions and won't scale as we get more developers and groups on-board.

Martin, any thoughts on this? I think this was one of the changes you wanted to have to put additional fields describing a group in the Admin > Groups table.
