I realize we might actually want to give the entire watch function an overhaul. Issue 703 : "Master and apprentice" concept in review activity. Issue 118: Direct push to a branch doesn't send email to subscribers Issue 492 : Allow "watching" specific branches in a project Issue 502: mail list controls for project watch lists Issue 605 : Filter the list of open changes by watched projects Already fixed in 2.1.4: Issue 70 : Provide a way to automatically CC people on changes that touch files whose names match certain patterns ( http://groups.google.com/group/repo-discuss/browse_thread/thread/ea2b445707b4049d/1554e24bcde2be19?lnk=gst&q=filter#1554e24bcde2be19 )

It would also be nice to be able to watch a specific user instead of a project. This way I can see everything submitted to any project by anyone on my team.

To watch a user on any project select All-Projects as the project to watch and in the filter section enter "owner:target-user". |
