Sometimes it would be nice to attach an image to a comment (a screenshot, etc). Right now most people would upload them somewhere else and provide a link. Having a way to put these images inline in the comment would be nice.

For comparison, Github comments have a lovely drag-and-drop file upload which slurps the file into some sort of storage and inserts the appropriate markup for loading the image into the comment box. When posted, it gets rendered as a lovely image.

Very handy for attaching screenshots of bugs or odd behaviors.

Is this already available? I'm also trying to search for a plugin with this functionality, but without success.

Or at least attach files, doesn't need to be something inline.

No, this issue is still open and there is no plugin which provides this functionality.

But you can store the image/file on some external service and have a link to it your comment.
