| Issue 1077: | off-screen cursor does not force refocus when using keyboard shortcuts | |
| 3 people starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
Affected Version: 2.1.7.2 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Visit http://gerrit.chromium.org/gerrit/#patch,sidebyside,5374,1,drivers/spi/tegra2_spi.c 2. Make sure the whole file doesn't fit onto a single visible page (scrolls off the bottom). 3. Hold "j" (for "Next Line") until the cursor hits the bottom of the screen. 4. Keep holding "j". What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The cursor stops at the bottom of the visible output until the user manually scrolls down. Instead, the browser should have refocused the window automatically so that the cursor was in the middle of the screen so no additional user interaction is required. Please provide any additional information below. Similar issue can be seen on the summary pages. i.e. visit http://gerrit.chromium.org/gerrit/#change,5384,patchset=2 and hit "j" or "k" to try and select a patch, but the cursor doesnt move nor can you select a patch with "enter" unless you scroll down and make the section visible. Using Chrome 13.0.782.107 beta.

Present in 2.7-rc2-505-g7502a46 on gerrit.wikimedia.org, very annoying indeed. |
