What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Under Settings > Gantt chart > Timeline labels, be sure "Show all 
milestones" is unchecked.
2. Create a task, and under General Properties, check "Milestone" and "Show in 
timeline". (I am trying to show just selected milestones in the timeline.)
3. Click OK to close the properties pop-up, and you should see the milestone 
correctly displayed in the timeline.
4. Save and close the file.
5. Open the file. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the milestone to appear in the timeline, as in step #3. However, the 
milestone no longer displays in the timeline after closing and re-opening the 
file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v2.6.5 (originally saw bug on v2.6.1). Mac OS X 10.8.5.

Please provide any additional information below.
