It would be cool if fullcalendar understands limited strftime commands in
its format date functions.....

this could actually be useful. people have requested that buttonText allow date variables, and instead of forcing developers to escape non-date-command characters with the current setup (http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/docs/utilities/formatDate/) this might be an elegant alternative. would work well amidst normal text

btw, will be switching to momentjs at some point.

In the meantime I made a PHP date to fullcalendar date commands converter by myself :-)
