When I click on a slot, is displayed selectHelper with the time set in snapDuration.

It would be very useful to have available a listener to be able to display the selectHelper with a certain time while moving the mouse over the calendar.

For example, there are tasks with a specific time. The user could move the selectHelper through the calendar looking for an empty space where the event can fit without overlapping.

The result would be something like this:

Obviously, a parameter would be the duration of the event.

Rather than starting a new issue, I thought it might be better to tack onto this one. In the 1.X version of FullCalendar, I could easily add hover styles for day cells. For example, I added a highlight color as the user moused over each day. As far as I can tell, with the new table format in 2.X, this is not so straightforward to do with CSS or JS without digging into the fullcalendar code.

It would be helpful if there was a dayMouseover event, so that you could use the .fc-day element returned on mouseover and add styles or do whatever you want with that data.

@Rusty.L.Bailey, I agree, that would be useful. Would you mind creating a separate ticket? When you do, I'll accept it right away.

This is because Google Code is shutting down. Apologies if you are being pestered with these notifications. This is a one-time event.

Happy coding,
Adam
