It would be nice if there was an option like "stick" for the global fullcalender options. This options would then not do another ajax request when visiting a time-span of which the events have already been retrieved.

Of course this would not work in scenario's where for instance other people can push events to the server to update your calendar. But for a simple calendar with no shared calendar / multi-user it would prevent ajax requests to the server.

Additionally it would be nice if you could specify the initial range and the next range.

For example:
Initially: fetch 2 months
On next month: fetch 1 month more. So you have always 1 month ahead, clicking to the next month would show the events instantly and the next month would already start getting cached.

Example 2:
In a scenario where you want to increase the events array to reduce the amount of requests you can set it to fetch 6 months at once.

On hindsight i would understand if caching is left to the user and you can specify the range yourself in the ajax request with additional parameters or something. So for me it's not really needed, but it might be nice to hint to a solution like this in the manual. (So then it would not be part of the fullcalendar library, but some additional code around it on how to do things)
