There will a Delay induced during relocation in accessing files ? Some
applications on network may have some time out and break.

We told:

-- if 5 writes are going and 5th write has time out.
Due to any reason 5th write is not scheduled and 5th write fails.
What do you comment in such a situation?

Judges told: Yes this will happen but your delay will be present even if
there is single write.

There was no arguement as such.

The judges told : You can optimize it, Develop a better algo for it.

There will always be a delay in accessing a file that is being relocated,
even on a single write, the reason being, the lock that we have on the inode.
And i feel that guaranteeing data stability is much important than performance.
As SKS said we are providing storage optimization as well.

And we can always have a better algorithm for anything if its not O(1).
We have opened a platform and futher works will be done on this to optimize the
performance.
