The XML file is well formed. Create a DTD to validate it.

One more thing, the tier that you have made tags for,
this tier element must be inside groups, directories,etc.
It should have a hierarchy, right.
for eg:
<allocation>
<group>
<gid>group id </gid>
<tier> tier1 </tier>
<gid> ...and so on.
</group>
<file_type>
<type> *.txt </type>
<tier> tier2 </tier>
</file_type>
</allocation>
so see if you can make it this way, it should be distinguishable.

I think RKS has made a valid point by saying that we can enhance the GUI later now, but for now we need a working copy with all the features. Also, the example that you gave in the previous comment makes perfect sense. I really appreciate your decision. Keep it up. I want to see such judgment in everyone.

I have changed the layout of first window.. instead of that tree we can put any image...Like our logo or something else....and instead of that that design of OHSM we can have hand written document explaining our project.........

The design of XML file and the data structure for allocation relocation and defining tiers is attached.. This is almost finalised only SKS is supposed to review it so that it is over and out. The document is made so that it is understandable rather than being formal....
