@richshaw2015 I'm not able to reproduce this issue in feedparser 6.0.6 on Python 3.9, at least not by copying and pasting the sample you provided.

It's true that a SAXParseException('junk after document element') is thrown, but it's caught and ignored. I'm seeing 40 items, which appears to match the number of <item> tags in the total document sample.

Would you respond with the version of feedparser and Python that you're using, and confirm whether the sample feed throws an uncaught exception?
