We know that at least one of the agencies that pushed for the inclusion of 
pre-parsing hints in OPF (properties=scripted etc) ended up going another way 
and is thusly not using them.

If a survey of implementations indicate that these are scarcely or not at all 
used actively, then we could consider deprecating these.

Despite current lack of use, imo this still seems a useful thing to retain and 
not difficult for publishers/authors to do. As EPUB 3 and scripting becomes 
more widely used perhaps RSs will see the benefit of this.

The Google Play reading system processes and uses these various properties.

Not that we must into the future, but do now.  I tend to think the metadata is 
useful.

Based on input from implementors at [1], the property is used, and this is 
therefore a non-issue for 3.0.1
