What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go http://wwwendt.de/tech/dynatree/doc/samples.html
2. Select "Drag'N'Drop 3" Example.
3. Drag Item1 in a lazy node quickly : Item 1 is added in the LazyNode and the real content of the LazyNode isn't loaded at all.
4. RELOAD The same example
5. Drag Item1 in a lazy node slowly (wait for the lazynode loading, and drop Item1 on the node) : the content is loaded and Item1 is appended to the node.

Problem:
When an user drop quickly an item in a lazynode, the lazynode's original content doesn't load.

Expected:

1. Drop the Item after the lazynode is loaded.
OR 2. Drop is impossible (:/)

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen.
Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented.
Please open a new issue there otherwise:
