| Issue 381: | Extend onDragXXX event params | |
| 1 person starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
Extend the onDragEnter event to include all available params to match onDrop. When dragging from a external source (not a dynatree) we require the ui object to be included in the event to examine ui.helper.data and determine the hit mode. This is included in the onDropbut not the onDragEnter or onDragOver.

As suggested by mar10 in a forum discussion https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/dynatree/-kgd6N7yt8c I'm attaching a sample file demonstrating a problem I'm running into because I don't know how to get access to the event object from within an onDrop handler.

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen. Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented. Please open a new issue there otherwise: https://github.com/mar10/fancytree
