First of all thank you for the great plugin. Before using dynatree, I had spent 5 days struggling with various jquery treeview pluging but
found dynatree very efficient and easy to implement. I am facing an issue in the following scenario:

Am using multilevel hierarchy of nodes upto 4 levels and these nodes are ULs.

Following are steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open any level# 3 folder node and click on the 4th level leaf node having a URL.
2. The page refreshes and the tree retains its structure from cookie. Collapse the level# 3 folder node and click on any other node leaf at level# 1.
3. Issue is that the collapsed level reopens on page refresh and does not remain closed.

Expected output:
After the Step# 2, the page gets refreshed and as expected the level# 3 folder node should remain collapsed as persist property is set to true. Instead, it remains open.

Using Dynatree v1.2.1 with jQuery v1.7.2

The above mentioned scenario have been tested and found on IE 8, FF 14.

DOCTYPE declaration:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

Please provide any additional information below.

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen.
Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented.
Please open a new issue there otherwise:
