Right click a node in 'Programming API' example that is not the selected node.

In Firefox, the node will generate a focus event and become focused.
In Chrome we get no focus event and the non-selected node does not become focused.

Is this a Chrome quirk that can be worked around?

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen.
Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented.
Please open a new issue there otherwise:
