| Issue 299: | Focus attribute of nodes not working with ajax load | |
| Back to list |
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Load the tree with initAjax 2. Have one of the nodes (not the first one) have focus set to true in the json response. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Grey background should be on the node specified. Instead I see it on the first one in the tree. What version of the dynatree and jQuery are you using? dynatree: 1.2.0 jQuery: 1.6.1 On what operating system and browser? Ubuntu 11.10 / Chrome 17.0.963.79 What DOCTYPE declaration are you using? XHTML Strict Thanks for looking into it.

I think this one is related: On Win7 I have a TreeView with lazyLoad. When I click on an element this is expanded. When I rightclick to open a contextmenu, I alsways get back the element with an leftclick, in case of a filebrowser, the Folder, not the File I did the rightClick on. This happens in Safari 5.1.7 & Chrome Version 22.0.1229.79. In FF 15.01 and IE9 it does work like expected!! Strange enough in IE. The Problem seems to be, that Safari & Chrome do not set the focus on the Element over which the rightClick happens .... What can be done? Any workarounds?

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen. Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented. Please open a new issue there otherwise: https://github.com/mar10/fancytree
