Can dynatree preserve the attributes on the LI tags, or put the unique node identier into the HTML markup.

I'm trying to use dynatree on a very large tree (1,000s of nodes) so I want to use http://medialize.github.com/jQuery-contextMenu/ as it will use only one instance of the context menu, unlike the beautifulsite context menu which has instances for each node.

I can't get dynatree to work with the above context menu.

I added a modified sample that uses Rodneys tree, not perfect and hardly tested though.
There may be problems with mouse events / interference with d'n'd, but basically it seems to work.
