| Issue 253: | Drag & Drop not behaving as expected from a user point of view | |
| 2 people starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Build a tree with 2 parents with 2 children each 2. Expand all the tree if not done yet 3. Drag the first parent and notice that just the parent element is dragging, not the 2 children. What is the expected output? As a user I expect the full block to be draggable not only the element I clicked on. It's easier to see what you are trying to move (in this case the parent and the 2 children). What do you see instead? Just the parent is moving with the mouse. What version of the product are you using? $Version: 1.2.0$ $Revision: 528, 2011-09-17 18:58:59$ On what operating system and browser? Google Chrome 15.0.874.121 m

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen. Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented. Please open a new issue there otherwise: https://github.com/mar10/fancytree
