What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
Allow to pass the node title as a list of columns. The single columns will be displayed aligned, as in a table.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
A full blown table-tree - that uses <table> markup - seems to be hard to implement, but this simpler aproach may solve some use cases.

What is the solution for IE6. This doesnt work in IE6.

I don't officially support this feature on IE6. If you find a way to improve the CSS, please let me know ;-)

This issue is addressed with Dynatree 2.0 ('fancytree')

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen.
Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented.
