| Issue 123: | Selection doesn't maintain highlight after closing and opening parent node | |
| 1 person starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. open a folder node and select an item within 2. close the folder node 3. reopen the folder node and notice that the item is no longer highlighted. (If possible, please attach an example HTML file, that works when copied into the dynatree/doc/ folder.) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect to see the previously selected item remain selected. If, for example, the initial selection displayed associated content in a pane to the right, that content is still displayed when opening and closing the parent folder node. Maintaining the highlight on the item serves as feedback to the user as to what the currently displayed content is. What version of the product are you using? 0.5.1 On what operating system and browser? XP, IE, Chrome, Firefox On Chrome (only), the folder node becomes highlighted when closed, and remains so when reopened. Please provide any additional information below.
