What steps will reproduce the problem?
 in Darteditor select a .yaml file

1. right click pub.*
2. menu Tools-pub.*

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: pub update/install

instead a message with "Please select a pubspec.yaml file before running pub." is shown

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
happens on M4 release and
Dart Editor version 0.1.2_r21618
Dart SDK version 0.1.2.0_r21618

happens on Win7-64 and Win8-64

Please provide any additional information below.
removing all pubspeck.lock or reinstalling the editor afresh and removing the pub cache did not solve the problem
