What steps will clearly show the issue / need for enhancement?
1.
Install DartEditor
2.
Open a source folder
3.
Click the run button in the the DartEditor toolbar.
alternatively
select a file and click the run button

What is the current output?

Error message: "Unable to run current selection - please select a runnable resource"

What would you like to see instead?
Should run the selected file

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.3 probably

Please provide any additional information below.
I didn't encounter this myself(see linked SO question above for more information).
I just thought someone should check if there is any issue because this can be pretty frustrating when the first attempt to launch a Dart app fails at such basic steps.

Thanks for the feedback! After review, we believe we can better address this issue by helping editors like sublime and webstorm provide great Dart support.
