Nexus 5 running stock KitKat. Android WebView no longer supports "force enable zoom" as in all previous versions of Android. That is, there is no way to tell WebView to ignore the viewport meta tag.

Users are complaining that this functionality has disappeared. Please reinstate force enable zoom functionality in WebView.

Note that Chrome Browser for Android has a "Force enable zoom" option which is now, because of this regression in KitKat, no longer possible in basically all other Android web browsers. What about the antitrust ramifications?

I have the same issue with my nexus 10.

I think it's a problem with ipv6 (and DNS ?) because when I use a vpn (which 'disables' ipv6) everything works fine.
