adblockforchrome - issue #7387

technabob.com - 300x250 images blocked

Posted on Jan 30, 2013 by Helpful Rhino

Please fill out this report fully. We are so busy that we have to ignore incomplete reports. Sorry!

AdBlock version number: 2.5.56 Operating system: Mac OS 10.8.2 Browser version number: Chrome 24.0.1312.56 Paste the URL from your address bar where you see the problem: http://technabob.com

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please be very specific. 1. Surf to site with Adblock On 2. Note that main 300x250 images from the home page are missing, even though they are not ads 3. Turn off Adblock - images appear

Please let me know if there's something I need to do on my end to solve this problem, or if it's a filter issue with AdBlock

What do you expect to see? What do you see instead? I expect to see all of my 300x250 images on the site, but they are being mistaken for ads by AdBlock.

Click the AdBlock toolbar button -> Options -> Customize. Paste the contents of that page's big textbox:

Click the AdBlock toolbar button -> Options -> Filter Lists. Which filter lists are checked?

Uncheck all filter lists and restart your browser. Does the problem disappear?

Please add screenshots or any other information that you have:

--- The questions below are optional but VERY helpful. ---

If unchecking all filter lists fixes the problem, which one filter list must you check to cause the problem again after another restart?

Technical Chrome users: Go to chrome://chrome/extensions -> Developer Mode -> Inspect AdBlock's generated_background_page.html -> Click on Console. Paste the contents here:

Technical Opera users: click the Opera menu -> "Extensions" -> "Manage extensions" page -> "Open error console". Press "Collapse all". Find all javascript errors that occur on a page that starts with "widget:". Expand them and paste the content here:
