- Webpyte is based on the latest version of CherryPy, an excellent web framework.
- Webpyte will upgrade its Python version as soon as possible.
- You want to gain productivity by reusing existing code.
- Webpyte is modular. You can benefit from existing packages as well as write your own packages, for your own purposes.
- You can use anything for persistence, preferrably SQLAlchemy.
- The system is easily skinnable by CSS -- check out SitesPoweredByWebpyte.
- If it is not easily skinnable by CSS, that is a bug.

So far, Webpyte has only been tested on Ubuntu Linux, using PostgreSQL. If you try it on other combinations, I am interested in bug reports.
