Migrate Project Away from Google Code

Posted on Aug 13, 2015 by Happy Bird

Google Code is shutting down. On 25th August 2015, it will become read-only. Presumably this means that nobody will be able to open new issues or comment on existing issues. The downloads will also be frozen at the current version.

Google suggests migrating to GitHub or some other alternative:

I have set up a Bitbucket project for now, but the problem is that migrating issues to Bitbucket loses a lot of information, and issue tracking on Bitbucket is kind of terrible in the first place.

Github is not really an option because it does not support hg, and hg-git does not roundtrip.
