There's something wrong with the leading/linespacing values in the Goudy fonts: on Mac OS X they're being set at something like quadruple-spaced (about 3em worth of leading between lines.) See screenshot from Font Book app.

Posted on Dec 5, 2009 by Massive BirdSorry I missed this issue!
I'm going to be issuing a new version of the fonts with different internal units and maybe that will fix the problem. Some software is buggy when fonts have unusual (though perfectly standard-conforming) internal unit sizes.
Leading problems also often have to do with the ad hoc ways that different programs use to determine default leading, which sometimes are weird.

Posted on Jan 9, 2010 by Massive BirdDoes version 3.0 fix this problem?

Posted on Jan 9, 2010 by Grumpy MonkeyI don't see the problem any more, but interestingly, I don't see it with the older version of the font anymore either. So the change must be that I upgraded from OS X 10.5 to 10.6. I'll try installing the new font on a 10.5 system and report back.

Posted on Jan 4, 2011 by Massive BirdI'm going to change the status of this issue to WontFix. It's probably one of many instances in which there was a hardcoded value "1000" in code that should have read the pertinent value from the font.
