I will run quicksynergy on my linux computer and synergy on my windows.
(My windows computer is the server with the mouse and keyboard, while the linux is the computer I am trying to remotely control)
I Start the Synergy server on my windows computer then try running the QuickSynergy Client on the linux computer and it won't necessarily connect. Usually I have to keep doing this over and over and eventually it will connect.
I am wondering why it does this. I would like it to connect first try (not 10th or 20th).
Any ideas why this is happening. Here is a working situation:
NOTE: starting server NOTE: config file: C:/Users/Ferg/AppData/Local/Temp/qt_temp.em3984 NOTE: log level: NOTE NOTE: started server, waiting for clients NOTE: accepted client connection NOTE: client "raspberrypi" has connected
I am also curious why my config file is stored in a temp location?

I solved the issue, you must be in the USE tab of quicksynergy to connect.. Duh.
