What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. connecting to arduino as guided by text

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Hello i am using a display taken from a nokia 3310(no shield or anything). Says hello world for half a second and then goes black. searched the net and seems there are others having the problem with nulelectronics nokia3310 shield v2...yet no sollution so far.

Tried it with arduino 1.0.1, 1.0, 0.22, 0.23 and does the same thing. seems that if i pull out the cap,discharge it and put it back the screen works again for a half second displaying the text then goes black again. after i had no luck with this..placed it back inside the nokia phone and it works great..so lcd is not the problem..Hope you cand help me if it`s a software or hardware problem.
