ooo2gd - issue #97

Can't enable extension

Posted on Jul 20, 2011 by Happy Kangaroo

Version of OOo2GD: .3.0.0 Version of Java: 6 Operating System: Ubuntu 11.04 Version of OO.org: LibreOffice 3.3.2 Is OO.org using Sun Java?:

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. After the installation, when I try to enable the extension, an error message appears (image attached). 2. 3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Please provide any additional information below.

I've got the same with ubuntu 11.04 32bit installation and libreoffice 3.3.3.

The error in screenshot attached appears when trying to add ooo2gd3.0.0 or gdocs 2.4.0. at first try, extension manager window doesn't list installed extension. when overwriting extension with a second installation, the same error occurs again but extension gets listed.

when activating extension, error reported by andre occurs.

With OpenOffice.org apt-get install openoffice.org helps, how it is with libreoffice I don't know. But it seems as instalation of office without some components needed by Java extensions.

Hi all,

same issue here on linux platform with libreoffice. It is not really a bug. Please install libreoffice-java-common with your package manager. This solved this activation problem.
