Feature request for LDraw output:

1x1 brick (studs up modeling) instead of 1x1 plates layered sorting of pieces in LDraw file - suggest sorting by orientation, then by layer - perhaps put different orientations into different submodels additional colors for layers

Having the model done in bricks instead of plates would be very helpful. Master builders typically work with bricks and they seem to be more common in builds.
