likwid - issue #89

Provide an extended Version of likwid-perfscope script (timeline mode)

Timeline mode needs a better frontend support to be more usable. This includes live graphs as in likwid-perfscope but also generating printed graphs and output files with other backends as gnuplot and xmgrace.

Such a script can also include functionality as measuring for a single program execution only.

Task:

Evaluate possible features and requirements for an extended likwid-perfscope script.

likwid-perfscope is enhanced in Likwid 4. Similar to Likwid 3, only GnuPlot is used.
