In order to satisfy the Qt v4.4.1 dependency, I recommend that you upgrade to at least Ubuntu v8.10.

Earlier releases of Qt and PyQt contain bugs that affect Q7Z; so, I won't be lowering the required versions of these dependencies.

I'm sorry if this disadvantages users of Ubuntu's Hardy Heron (LTS) release. They could get around the problem, by switching to a rolling release distribution like Arch Linux :-).
