hybridfox - issue #91

"TypeError: d is null" when attaching a volume with OpenStack

Posted on Jul 7, 2011 by Quick Bear

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Connect to an OpenStack cloud. 2. Start an instance 3. Create a volume 4. Attach volume to the instance at /dev/vdc

What is the expected output? Status of the volume should go to "in-use".

When I do a euca-describe-volumes I can see that the volume did indeed attach and is "in-use". Within the instance I can make a filesystem on the volume and mount it without any problems.

What do you see instead? A dialog that reads,

An error occurred while calling DescribeVolumes TypeError: d is null

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? HybridFox 1.6 build 000083 (EC2 API 2010-08-31) Mac OS X 10.6.8 Firefox 4.0.1
