your description didn't helped me out ;-)

Grouping is working perfekt with:

class="parent" and class="expand-child child-id"

but, how does collaps work? i've tried it like that:

class="collapsible parent collapsed" and class="expand-child child-id"

but that didn't work.

Where is the failure?
